American Gods, by Neil Gaiman Γιατί να είναι αυτό το 10ο ενώ υπάρχουν κι άλλα πολύ καλά βιβλία του Gaiman; Να πω την αλήθεια έχω διαβάσει και αυτό και άλλα βιβλία του Gaiman. Έχει κάποια στοιχεία παραπάνω αυτό το βιβλίο σε σχέση με τον σύγχρονο/μοντέρνο πολιτισμό της ενδότερης Αμερικής (ΗΠΑ), αλλά άλλα βιβλία του είναι πολύ πιο συναρπαστικά. Ένα edit: Θα μπορούσαμε να πούμε ότι σε αυτό το βιβλίο ο Gaiman έφτιαξε μια σύγχρονη μυθολογία για τις Ηνωμένες Πολιτίες. Είναι λογικό το δείγμα των ψηφοφόρων να μην είναι αντιπροσωπευτικό. Το ίδιο που λες για το Γκάιμαν, θα μπορούσα εγώ να το πω για το Going Postal του Πράτσετ. Το Night Watch είναι πολύ καλύτερο. Naroualis Posted September 23, 2011 Author Share Posted September 23, 2011 Μου κάνει εντύπωση ότι α) η Ευθυμία δεν έχει διαβάσει μερικά από τα πιο κλασικά όπως τα 1984, Animal Farm, Brave New World και β) ότι κάποιοι έβαλαν σε τέτοια λίστα το αγαπημένο μου Outlander series, έστω και με το όνομα της συγγραφέως γραμμένο λάθος (είναι Gabaldon και όχι Gabaldan). Πού το θυμήθηκαν! Πρώτη φορά το βλέπω σε αυτό το φόρουμ. α) Εξηγείται το παράδοξον. Μου αρέσει πολύ να διαβάζω "σύγχρονα" βιβλία. όταν ξεκίνησα να διαβάζω φανταστικό, ήταν η εποχή που κυκλοφορούσαν κάτι Λυχνάρια, κάτι Cosmos-EΦ Space σειρές και δε συμμαζεύεται. Ξεκίνησα λοιπόν, με αυτά και με το σκεπτικό ότι ε, όταν μου τελειώσουν, θα πιάσω και τα παλιά. Έλα όμως που εκείνη η στιγμή δεν ήρθε ποτέ... Έτσι οι κλασσικοί μείνανε παραπίσω. Και τον Άρχοντα ακόμη, αν δεν ήταν η ταινία, δε θα τον διάβαζα μάλλον. β) Είναι το ρημάδι το χεράκι του αναγνώστη... όλο και θα ξετρυπώσει κάτι που οι σοφολογιότατοι κειμενογράφοι των στηλών στα ηλεκτρονικά περιοδικά το έχουν στο φτύσιμο. 44! heiron Posted September 24, 2011 Share Posted September 24, 2011 Τη συγκεκριμενη λιστα την ειχα σε μια καρτελα να τη βλεπω να την τσεκαρω που και που κι ολο ελεγα να την ποσταρω κι εδω αλλα δεν πολυεμπαινα αυτες τις μερες. Βαζοντας μεσα και σειρες που δεν τις εχω διαβασει ολοκληρες(παντως σε ολες εχω διαβασει απο 2 βιβλια και πανω) μετρησα 42 βιβλια.Οχι κι ασχημα αλλα κατω απο τη βαση.Βεβαια δεν ειδα κανενα να την περναει ως τωρα,ουτε καν ο τωντωνης με το δρεπανι. Είσαι ίσως ο μόνος αναγνώστης εδώ μέσα που πολύ κι ανάκατα και με την ίδια υποθέτω ευχαρίστηση και φ και σφ Δε τα λετε δε τα γραφετε αλλα τελευταια φορα που μετρησα τα βιβλια φανταστικου που εχω διαβασει μου βγηκαν ισα τα φ με τα εφ με εκπληκτικη ακριβεια.
