See the smiles

They sex me

I want to kiss and gnaw and bite the lips away

And all the nonsense

spilling through

I want to chew then spit on the face of the prey

 

See the skins

Desensitized

I want to suck and prod till they burn red

And all the no-cells

Amassed and rotting

Suppose they’re off and dear sarcasm’s dead

 

I say you take another look

and watch the dumb

dim-witted

and obscene

Irony is certainly

not

a dead scene.
