"These tourists will be the death of me…". Apotheosis chirps "Cheer up! They'll be elevated someday, you'll see". Barkeep asks, "What'll it be?" Apotheosis chimes, "A Lacrima Christi for me". Misanthropy mutters, "an Absinthe, even though it's illegal, if you please". "Where's Charles Baudelaire? He's 'sposed to meet us at 3". Barkeeps says "he never shows up - he Absinthe's himself too much". "How about an Inferno, Misanthropy?, the opposite of Lacrima Christi – you'll see, the yang to her yin, it won't be a sin – and I promise a hell of a night for Apotheosis and Misanthropy, a memorable night, Sir, with a giant apostrophe". Faia de Wolf
"Don't worry, love! I won't hurt you!" Apotheosis and Misanthropy hear Sadism saying to Masochism. They are sitting next to them. "You should have let me drink that bleach..." Misanthropy is talking to himself. "That would be too easy for you..." Apotheosis laughs "...and I've got other plans... for us!" "Where is that damn Charles anyway...? He's late!" Apotheosis offers a tender smile to the wall that almost deafens Misanthropy. Faia de Wolf
"Will I finally achive apotheosis? On a desolate, windswept mountain? Then again, perhaps the theosis part is what's worth concentrating on..." Misanthropy mutters "The fact's that geography does not change things, but it can certainly make life more plesant." Apotheosis warbles. You know who you are…if you've read this far. And you are probably laughing (too loud) right now... because you recognise yourself... but remember, along with Colette, "If I cannot have too many truffles, then I won't have any at all". NB: 'Ur' is an ancient civilization, 'U' is not a word.....

Faia de Wolf
