Mάλιστα γράφει στην απάντηση πως έκανε το τεστ και ο ίδιος ο Benford και βγήκε Arthur C. Clarke! Oπότε είμαι με καλή παρέα, άλλο αν δεν γράφω τόσο hard science fiction. Ο Stapledon είναι παλιός αλλά γαμάτος συγγραφέας και το Star Maker του όποιος δεν το έχει διαβάσει χάνει. Μάλιστα ξαναβγήκε στα Ελληνικά πρόσφατα. Ο άνθρωπος ήταν αληθινός φιλόσοφος. Stubbs) ήταν μέλος των Futurians ενός Νεουορκέζικου κλαμπ φίλων της ε.φ. ανάμεσα στους οποίου ήταν και ο Ασίμωφ, ο Pohl και πολλοί άλλοι νεαροί τότε, που αργότερα έγιναν διάσημοι συγγραφείς. Αρκετοί έγραφαν στα pulp magazines τότε, και μόνο εκεί, όπως ο Stubbs. Αργότερα νομίζω εγκατέλειψε τη συγγραφή. Δεν είμαι σίγουρος. Πάντως μάλλον γι'αυτό δεν τον ξέρεις, 'cloak. heiron Posted November 3, 2005 Author Share Posted November 3, 2005 O Clement εχει παρει και ενα απο τα χιουγκο που δοθηκαν εκτος των υστερων-για το 1946.Πηρε και τον τιτλο του Γκραντ Μαστερ τη δεκαετια 90. ΔΕΝ εγκατελειψε τη συγγραφη αλλα εγραφε ως το τελος της ζωης του το 2003. Εγραφε σκληρη ΕΦ οντας αστρονομος και χημικος.Διασημοτερο εργο του το Mission of Gravity οπου μιλαει για ενα πλανητη που περιστρεφεται πολυ γρηγορα και δεν ειναι σφαιρικος αλλα η βαρυτητα του ποικιλει απο κοντα στη γηινη ως και εκατονταδες φορες μεγαλυτερη.
